The Governor of Arizona issued Executive Order 2020-26, on April 8, 2020; making immediately effective Arizona’s RON laws (A.R.S. § 41-371, et seq., effective July 1, 2020) and guidance enabling remote online notarization in the state. And Arizona isn’t the only one, 35 states and counting have enacted some sort of remote (or mobile) notarization policy & guidance amid a persistent COVID-19 pandemic.
